Very tasty meatballs that kids really like – these are my son’s favorite meatballs since he was a year old. You can make the same recipe with beef instead of chicken and mint instead of basil.
1.5 kg ground chicken breast
1/2 cup chopped basil leaves
2 tablespoons soy or chickpeas flour
1 tablespoon of coconut oil + another teaspoon oil or oil spray
1 tsp dried oregano
Salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
Heat a large frying pan and spread the teaspoon of coconut oil on it, or spray with oil spray.
Mix the remaining ingredients until the mixture is uniform.
Roll to a 3 cm meatballs.
Fry for 1-2 minutes on each side, until lightly browned.
Transfer the meatballs to the baking pan and bake for 20-30 minutes until the meatballs are completely baked.
