Banana & Cinnamon Chips

A very interesting and special snack for entertaining that can be prepared in advance, then put in the oven for a few minutes and you have a special and delicious snack. Low-carb, sugar-free and gluten-free that even kids really like.

Ingredients

6 ripe bananas

Cinnamon powder

Preparation

Preheat oven to 100 degrees. Line a baking pan with parchment paper and spray with oil or spread an extra thin layer of coconut oil.

Cut the banana in half and slice lengthwise into the thinnest slices possible. The recommended thickness is a maximum of half an cm, preferably less.

Arrange the slices in a single layer on the baking paper and put in the oven for 2.5 to 3 hours. If you prepare a large amount for entertaining, you can insert up to three cookie sheets and activate the turbo.

Turn off the oven and leave the chips inside until they becomes crispy and crunchy.

Before serving sprinkle over cinnamon.

Store in the fridge in a sealed box. Keeps for up to two weeks.

If the box wasn’t sealed and moisture got in, making the chips tired and a little rubbery, heat the oven to 100C, put in the chips for half an hour and then leave in the oven to cool. They come out new.
