1 medium cabbage cut into thin strips
1 tablespoon caraway seeds
1 can of diced or crushed tomatoes (not puree)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup raisins without kernels
4 cups water
1 small onion finely chopped
Put all the ingredients in a pot, bring to a boil, and cook over low heat for an hour and a half.
You can serve with a tablespoon of sour cream.
