Easy & Quick Homemade Ketchup

Homemade ketchup is much healthier than the purchased ketchup that contains a large amount of preservatives and sugars. Here in a quick version. When you make it at home, you know exactly what goes into the ketchup and that it’s indeed healthy.

Ingredients

1.5 cup tomato paste

1/2 cup white or red wine vinegar

1/4 cup honey or agave nectar

1/4 cup water

1 flat tsp salt

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon of a preferred seasoning mixture

Preparation

Mix all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.

Lower the heat and cook for 20 minutes.

Cool to room temperature and transfer to hermetically sealed jars.

Can be stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks.
