You can make this dish with codfishes, tonguefish, tilapia, grey mullet or trout. And if you like spinach, this side dish is delicious.
Ingredients
250 g spinach leaves without the stems
100 g fish fillets cut into strips
Juice from 1 lemon
Pinch of cumin
Pinch of cardamom
Pinch of all-spice
Ground chili
2 cups water
Preparation
Chop the spinach leaves very thinly.
Put the spinach, water, half the lemon juice and salt in a pot.
Bring to a boil and cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
Preheat oven to 200C.
Strain the spinach from the water.
Mix the spinach with the fish strips, spices, remaining lemon juice and salt.
Make a “boat” from foil and place the mixture in it.
Bake for 25 minutes.
