Who said green beans good only as part of stews or soups?
A delicious and interesting salad, which also looks very aesthetically pleasing and is always enthusiastically received on the table because it is different from the “regular” salads.
Very suitable with grilled meat and therefore suitable as a salad you take for a picnic.
And surprise: it’s green but kids still love it! And the question was tested on more than 10 different children between the ages of 3 to10.
1/2 kg fresh green beans (can be frozen and defrosted)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
2 teaspoons sesame oil
3 crushed garlic cloves
Boil water in a pot and prepare a bowl with water and ice cubes.
Cut the edges off the beans and cut the pods into two centimeters pieces.
Toss the beans into the boiling water and cook for four minutes. The beans should still remain crunchy.
Strain the beans well and transfer to the cold water to stop the cooking process.
Strain from the cold water and let the beans stand for five minutes to make sure all the water has drained.
Mix the remaining ingredients, add the beans and refrigerate for at least an hour.
