Healthy Berry Popsicle

Really healthy popsicle that kids really like. Instead of sugar, food color and synthetic flavor, you can prepare popsicles that give kids needed oxidants.

Ingredients

3.5 cups fresh mixed berries (you can buy frozen and defrost)

1.5 cup water

1/2 cup agave nectar

2 tablespoons lemon juice

Preparation

Place the water and agave in a saucepan and heat while whisking until the mixture is even.

Add the berries while stirring and mash the fruit with the back of a wooden spoon.

Bring the mixture to a light boil and cook for 5 minutes.

Strain while crushing with the wooden spoon. Throw away the leftovers.

Add the lemon juice while stirring and set aside to cool for half an hour.

Mix again and pour into popsicle molds (another option: pour into disposable plastic cups and stick a popsicle stick in each).

Freeze for at least eight hours.
