Interesting Marinade for Tofu or Chicken
A very interesting marinade that combines a number of strong flavors. Suitable for chicken breasts or tofu. The quantities in the recipe are enough for 1 kg of tofu or chicken schnitzels. Suitable for frying in a pan, roasting on the BBQ or coating with crumbs and then frying.

Ingredients

3 tbsp balsamic vinegar 6 tbsp olive oil 3 tbsp maple 3 tablespoons fresh rosemary or a teaspoon of dry rosemary 6 crushed garlic cloves Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Chicken Breast

Cut the chicken breasts into schnitzels. Dip the schnitzels in the marinade one by one and arrange in a bowl. Pour what’s left of the marinade over them. Leave 2 hours outside or 6 hours in the fridge. After marinating you can roast on a coal grill, fry on a steak pan with a little oil or a regular pan with more oil, or cover with breadcrumbs and then fry them.

Tofu

Slice the tofu into 1/2 to 1cm thick slices. Press the slices with your hand to remove as much fluid as possible. (The better it’s drained, the more it absorbs the flavors of the marinade.) Dip the slices in the marinade one at a time and arrange in a bowl. Pour what’s left of the marinade over them. Leave 2 hours outside or 6 hours in the fridge. After marinating you can roast on a coal grill, fry on a steak pan with a little oil or a regular pan with more oil, or cover with breadcrumbs and then fry them.
